Beach Shacks, Business and beautiful friendships

Our job can be so rewarding at times. Looking at the finished product and realising that the beautiful image you had in your head is now a reality.

But today, we experienced a part of our work that fills our heart more than beautiful fixtures and clever layouts ever could.

We have been nurturing a divine little studio recently. She is going to live in Safety Beach to become the holiday shack of an incredible young family of four.

We met them at our factory today so that they could see their new space for the first time and implement some good storage solutions.

From the time they climbed out of their car it was obvious that they were already in love with what they saw.

The overwhelm was so strong that it spread through all of us and there were hugs of excitement all around. Several times our new friends had to do a double take and at one point there were tears welling.

The nerves we had felt before, hoping that they would love what we had made them had all but melted away and we were all busily coming up with idea after idea for this gorgeous little shack!

 

Now, we truly do love what we do. At times the road blocks and red tape of our industry can cause you to lose a little sleep but when you get to experience a connection with a family that are so grateful that you

could a make their dreams a reality- that fills us up with more enthusiasm than words can ever explain!

 

It’s proof of what we have always known, we are not just constructing a building.

We are bringing someone’s dreams to life and they are also doing the same for us.

What we really wanted when we started Soulspace Studios was the chance to make a living doing what we love. We also needed for it to make other people truly happy.
We only ever wanted our clients to walk in and feel the amount of love we had put into their dream and for that space to make them feel like no other space in the world ever had….
So for us today was incredible….it always is….that palpable appreciation…that feeling of being a surrogate to someone else’s latest dreams and visions and being able to hand it over knowing that it will be creating
memories for years to come.

So we wanted to share with you all the words that accompanied a beautiful gift that our studio friends left us with….not because we want to prove that we are good at what we do but to show anyone who reads
this that it doesn’t matter what the circumstances are.

Open hearts and kindness can be part of everyday life, even in business.
